Math
We have just started Ch. 3.
Science
Our October environmental science theme is water.
Phonics
We are learning the sounds and names of the letters of the alphabet.
Writing
The students are beginning to form letters and write their names.
Reading
We have started using the CAFE and Daily 5 reading program.
Social Studies
The character education trait for October is responsibility. The kindergartners learn about the social studies disciplines (history, geography, civics, government, and economics) through the lens of "Myself and Others."
